Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a central oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by crossed swords, topped by a Kriegsmarine style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a U Boat over a hollow background, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse designer marked PEEKHAUS, BERLIN and maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 76. 65 mm (w) x 24. 30
